Robbers storm Hospital In Ondo Forcefully Collected Huge Some Of Money Beats Up Nurses

Workers and patients at hospitals in Okitipupa local government area of Ondo State are now living in fear following series of attack on two of the hospitals in the community by suspected robbers.
DAILY POST authoritatively gathered that two hospitals in Okitipupa was last week Sunday and Monday invaded by suspected robbers while nurses and patients were not spared from beating.
The attack was said to have been allegedly carried out by the same gang.
According to the source, the hoodlums also forcefully collected some amount of money from the patients on admission while patients and nurses who had no money to give were mercilessly beaten.
One of the victims on condition of anonymity said, ” the hoodlums were four in number, masked and they came to the hospitals on motorcycles.
” It was very unfortunate. We tried all our efforts to call the police but we did not succeed because they also collected our phones and other valuables. ” He, however, noted that nobody was killed nor raped during the operation by the hoodlums.
It was gathered that immediately after the operation on the first hospital, the victims reported the case at the police station in the town. The police was said to have promised to take action but less than 24 hours, another operation was carried out in another hospital in the town in same manner by the same gang.
Effort to reach the Public Relations Officer of the state police command, Mr Femi Joseph proved abortive as his telephone line was switched off at the time of this report.
